Our sweet "little" guy turned THREE today, Thanksgiving Day. We are so thankful to have him in our lives...he is a ray of sunshine in our home each day. He continues to be such a kind, gentle, joyful little soul, who makes us laugh all the time. We celebrated today with Grammy and PaPa, will celebrate again tomorrow with Grandma, Granddaddy and Clay's cousins, and the celebration will continue on Sunday, when we take a "Polar Express" train ride in north Georgia...he loves trains right now, so we look forward to this experience with him. More birthday celebration pictures to follow after the weekend.

Pumpkin Patch
Fall Cabin Trip
We had the pleasure of spending this past weekend with wonderful friends at a cabin in the mountains. We did lots of relaxing, sharing meals, hiking/spending time outdoors and catching up. It was a treat to have a whole weekend together! It was definietly a new adventure with almost as many kids as adults! We totally look forward to our next cabin trip.
Big Fun at the State Fair
We had lots of fun at the State Fair last weekend. The little ones (Margo Anne in particular because Clay tends to be our little daredevil) discovered the joy of amusement park rides...nothing too fast or too high, but great fun, nonetheless. They also enjoyed the sweet treats that come along with fairs...cotton candy and caramel apples! Fun stuff!

A Miniature Farm
Summer at the Zoo
We have been so busy having fun this summer that we haven't had much time to post pictures, so we're making up for lost time this week!
We enjoyed a fantastically fun trip to the zoo with Jess, Jake and Emma (We had the pleasure of joining Emma for her first trip to the zoo!) in June. Now that Margo Anne and Clay are a little older, they really enjoyed seeing all of the animals. Some favorites were the elephants, tigers, monkeys and most of all...the reptiles (especially the rattlesnake!). Margo Anne is convinced that she wants a pet snake...I don't see that happening anytime soon, though!
Second Hayes Playdate
We began the summer with another fun playdate with some old friends. We also had a surprise shower for Elizabeth, who has since given birth to baby Parker! It is always fun visiting with all of these folks, who we don't have a chance to see often enough.
