Christmastime With Friends

Over the holidays, we had the opportunity to get together with friends that we rarely get to see. Margo Anne and Clay loved spending time with and sharing their toys with Brooks, too! It was great to see you guys...we look forward to another gathering next year when everyone is back in town!

The Annual Supper Club Christmas Party

Mark, Rebecca and Baby Sophia were kind enough to host our annual Christmas party again this year. It is always so nice to get together for the holidays with these great friends. In addition to a fantastic meal and good times, we had a hoot exchanging "White Elephant Gifts." Dave's Velvet Elvis was a much sought-after gift! Thanks, guys, for another great gathering!

December Fun

As the holidays approached, we had lots of fun activities planned for December. We began by decorating for Christmas after Thanksgiving. Margo Anne and Clay totally enjoyed decorating the tree (only one ornament was broken this year...Clay thought it was a ball and threw it!!!) We also went to a Christmas parade with a band, dalmations, live reindeer and Santa Claus. The highlight, for Margo Anne, was riding a pony for the first time and then soon after riding a horse...she was so excited, as she has been very interested in "Black Beauty" in the recent months! Clay, with some encouragement, tried riding the horse with Margo Anne, but it was a bit too overwhelming for him. The little ones also loved going to see Christmas lights throughout the season. What a fun and exciting time!

Clay Turns 2 Years Old!

Our little guy turned two just after Thanksgiving! It has been such a great year...he has grown and changed so much. During the summer, he had much more fun running around the swimming pool, than actually swimming! During nice weather, he loves to go on walks, go to the park, walk in the woods and collect leaves, pinecones and rocks. He is such a happy little guy and loves life. Clay stared pre-school this fall for the first time and with the help of his great teacher, Ms. Colleen, and his very loving and patient Grammy and PaPa (who drop him off in the morning) he has adjusted well and enjoys school, especially doing art projects and listening to Mr. Joee, his music teacher, play his guitar and sing. During the two months prior to his birthday, Clay had a huge growth spurt and began to talk up a storm...now he entertains us all with the cute things that he says, as well as his singing and playing his guitar! We look forward to a fun Christmas this year and many more exciting times and milestones with our little "Kekhi" (a.k.a. Clay).
